October Is Texas Wine Month

We love wine!  As a matter of fact, we leave a complimentary bottle for our guests with every booking.

Texas is blessed to have so many great, award-winning wines all across the state, with many of them near enough to Canyon Peaks to make a great day trip

We love getting off the farm and taking a beautiful scenic drive to one or two of them on a Saturday afternoon. It’s the perfect date for wine lovers!

If you love getting out to taste some of the great wines in Texas, you should consider participating in the fun with events and the Texas Wine Passport Trail. Wine Enthusiast Magazine has named Texas one of the top ten wine destinations in the World!

Gruene Wine & Music Fest

Visit us during the first weekend of October and enjoy the Annual Gruene Music and Wine Fest (and this year’s event even includes Texas Craft Beer tastings!) Gruene Music and Wine Fest is three full days of fun featuring wine, beer and food samplings from many Texas wineries and live music throughout Gruene all weekend, ending each night at Gruene Hall with some of the best in Country Music. Get your tickets at gruenemusicandwinefest.org or call 830-629-5077 for more information. We are about 20 minutes from Gruene and a rocking chair on the front porch of a cozy cottage is the perfect place to relax after a long day of music and wine!
